Pode Hole Quarry
This is a rare opportunity to fossil hunt at Pode hole working quarry. This trip has been the result of two years hard work.
This site is scientically important for pleistocene gravels, there are two gravel levels over laying a Jurassic clay layer.

Pleistocene between 1,8MYA and 17,000 years ago
Jurassic 165MYA

The gravels contain micro and macro fossils such as Woolly Mammoth, Woolly Rhino, Wolf, Bison and Wild Horse.

For safety reasons this is an over 18's fossil hunt only!!!
