So how did the fossil hunt go at Walton yesterday then, any good finds? I did want to get there but couldn't. I may pay the naze a visit on this Friday morning all being well.

Was a great day and some nice finds... Loads of sharks teeth (no megalodon that day though) fish verts, some very large! several small mammal bones... seed pods and lots of wood as whell and the red crag fresh water bivalves and gastropods... one amazingly preserved piece of drift wood that I have!! some pics in Events forum and my wood in the IOW forum... more pics will be up soon I am sure. Good luck when you go down there a real mix of things to be found... my suggestion is to get right down to the ground, though small some pieces are exquisite.
