Re: Cambrian trilobite
Lovely! Did you get a Cambropallas Telesto trilobite while out there?

Re: Cambrian trilobite
No, they are hard to find cheap/real, that type is commonly faked. (This trilo was bought once I was back here after the trip). The trilobites I got out there will be in my "Morocco: The Finds" thread, or on my Facebook album "Morocco fossils". I've made all fossil albums public so anyone on here can see them I'll put a link in my sig.

Re: Cambrian trilobite
Generally around 50-80% of what you'd buy the same ones for here. The ones you see for £1000s online will be around £200 out there. I payed around £20 for ones that are £35ish online. I'm hoping to go back at some point, if not for a tour like I did before then just to the main areas for fossil shopping, including Al-Nif.

Re: Cambrian trilobite
There's an 'Auberge' (mini hotel) in almost every town, or at least people who are friendly enough to let you stay, and there are some in the desert as well.

Re: Cambrian trilobite
Why do the trilobites seem so different to the surrounding rock in colour? :?:
