Might have touched on this -a little- before but I don't like graptolites. And now I've gotten around to having to describe one for a uni module, I think I now hate them. I've got to do pages describing what is basically 6 lines on a piece of rock, which are also almost the same colour as the rock so I can't see them anyway.

I'll be in an even worse mood with them tomorrow seeing as it's the last day for me to do this description, which wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have the worst specimen in the world. Got that, a palynological processing description and an SEM plate to do all in one day... Been procrastinating pretty much all day today.. :/

To be honest, after my Wales fieldtrip the Graptolitic shales did change my mind a little, especially the graptolite comet.
