Right, you should all have watched this, but here's what I thought anyway..

    Planet Dinosaur PLANET-DINOSAUR

First off, the obvious milestone is Walking With. And it fails. Yes WWD had a fair few bits that would now be considered inaccurate, as well as a couple of bits that were exaggerated, but that was over 10 years ago, before they knew better. PD isn't too great on the accuracy side either. Due to creating CGI backgrounds rather than the real world locations of WWD, the quality of the dinosaurs is also much lesser. The animation isn't always great either, with a couple of running loops looking rather dire. The narrator isn't great either, his voice is a bit boring and he tries to claim all of the discoveries as part of his own "..we discovered that.." etc.

However, there are some good points, it uses less well known dinosaurs, and covers things people may have wanted to see, such as Spinosaurus vs Carcharodontosaurus, and some Feathered Therapods, but it does leave some things out, and makes rather glaring mistakes as well, but I won't go into detail to spoil it...

In short, it's worth a watch but not the most factual show ever, don't believe everything you hear on it.
