nope, all my hunting so far is isle of wight, a bit at lulworth cove and a quarry nere Leicester years ago

Ive finally found me a fossil hunting hat, sadly the one i want wont arrive for 7-10 weeks so i wont have it for the dyke/ my spain field trip :'(

No palaeontologist is complete without such a hat!
This is probably the only thing i agree with jack horner on: "I can't say hats are as precious to palaeontologists as they are to Texans, but they can be something of a signature, or talisman... Excavations are never, ever done in the shade. Where there is erosion and exposure, there is inevitable sun, and a hat, which is absolutely necessary, can gather memories and significance."

Id been looking for one for ages and then last night my mate sent me a link to that store, so much win! I might buy another, darker one just so ive got one for the dyke and my spain trip lol

Not sure, I dont think Ill be in a good area for that, its a mapping trip with uni so wont have much free time for that anyway going to the madrid natural history museum though
