Hi there (scooby doo) it,s fossilmad here. The other things in the cabinet are a piece of ichthyosaur jaw bone and some verts they were all brought unfortunately I really wish I could say that I found them myself, but hay a brought fossil is better than no fossil at all as I always say.hopefully going to lyme in october for a 3 day holiday hopefully I might get lucky and finally find one myself which would be great, will let you all know if I find anything.see-ya.

Re: Ichthyosaur fossil.
and i thought i was "special" having my fossils on display in my lounge! (i live in a batchelour pad so no one to moan at me lol!)glad to see i am not the only one! am planning a trip to lyme on sunday 26th of aug if anyone is interested? will have my 10 year old daughter to cater for, should be a laugh!
my prized purchased fossils are my wierd fish that was given to me but aparently is worth £500 according to an expert that saw it a few years ago, i have a 3foot slab of ammonites that cost me £45 in a fossil sale in a junk shop and a recently bought section of a large ammonite for £15 and also an antique hand made wooden cabinet which still contains its contents which are loads of mososaur teeth and the odd ammonite, one day i will get some pictires up on here!

I'm getting sliding doors put on my bedroom bookcases, but when I eventually get a place of my own I might have to have a room just for fossils!
