    R.I.P. Lonesome George.

    Lonesome George, the last of the Pinta Island Giant Tortoises, has died at approximately 100 years old. He's stood as a beacon for a change in animal conservation for the last 4 decades, and now hopefully his death will stand as a catalyst for a serious change.

    Makes ya feel sick, few things are irreversibly but that is one... although potentially reversible in the future but then that would probably be just as bad.

    even darwin ate a turtle of the same subspeices as goerge.
