The shell is of a bivalve, also the 'algae' may be bryozoa.
The bone fragments look good, and the one you suspect to be a coprolite I believe is- from that picture at least
not sure about the bone/teeth fragments, you'd need to try and prep around them.

yea im trying to do that and thanks for the info Very Happy
and i had a look at bryozoa and its definitly not that. each one is around 1mm-2mm and one of then has some shell grown over it suggesting it was on before the creature died and i had a look at it in a 20x zoom micro scope and it was quite intresting to see each hole in the "algea". my other suggestion is that if you have a look at modern day molluscs they tend to have long strands of algea growing off the shell and i keep water snails (a little ecosystem experiment) and the rooting of the algea looks simmilar to that of the fossilised "algea".

Yes but bryozoa comes in many forms, you can get long, snakey forms, branched types, and small circular forms that form on shells, we had some on the brachipods in our practical the other week that we had to count, they looked identical to those there, I'll show you some pics if I can find some

oh ok thank you for identifying it for me and when the picture comes ill be happier to know that it is bryozoa.

Hi ermaster do you have a scale on the first piece please. From the photo it could be a hypural vert (tail end of a fish) or a Pachystropheus scapula.

The second piece is bone but not identifiable, it could be anything from marine reptile to terrestrial dino.

    Third piece deffo coprolite.

Fourth piece same as piece two.

When did you collect them as I was there Saturday afternoon and there had been a large fall just the other side of the big slump and there was bone all over the beach.
