    (Ignore the BBC news link on this.. as usual the beeb is just jumping on the mammoth vs human bandwagon, and ignoring the real science..)

    The baby mammoth, Yuka, that was found in Sibera shows evidence of attack by lions, or other large felids before death, and later scavenging by humans, over 10,000 years ago

    That's the half-decent version, on the Nature page, there was another short one on the news page that was titled something along the lines of 'Baby Mammoth killed by ancient Humans', and then didn't mention the felid part at all. (It was definitely the same specimen). Also with the BBC they tend not to mention any non-english workers, such as a find my lecturer was on some years ago, he was doing a minor thing for one or two days of a month long dig with some Brazilians, but they weren't mentioned at all, only he was..
